Relaxation techniques help to empower your life. They are simple, and easy to learn. We all can relate to being stressed at some point in our lives. It is how we respond to those stressful situations that matter.

We are all made up of energy(atoms,nucleus,protons,electrons,matter). Our energy holds a vibration, and resonates to sound, color, smell, and touch.

Using different relaxation techniques can be very beneficial in balancing your energy. Your energy is electromagnetic and acts like magnets picking up different vibrational energies everywhere we go and from others.

Relaxation techniques-There are many different ways to relax and rejuvenate. Here are a couple that I love:

1. Try turning on the radio and start dancing by yourself or with a partner.

2. Sit or stand with your back straight and tall and breathe in deeply, expanding your abdomen on the inhale, and expelling all the way down to your abdomen as you exhale. Do this ten times.

3. Aromatherapy is very therapeutic. Experiment with different scents. I love using a diffuser with essential oils. It makes the whole house smell wonderful and everyone in it is noticeably calm and relaxed when it is used.

4. Meditate- Love, Love, Love this- Find a quiet room, Close your eyes, breathe in deeply three times, release, go calm, and relaxed, now imagine yourself opening a door, behind the door is a place where you feel calm, relaxed, and at peace. Now open the door and enjoy yourself there. It doesn't matter if you can't see anything, just think it, FEEL it. Feel how good it feels, to have the sun shining on you, feel how good it feels to be in a meadow of tall grass, flowers, etc... whatever you choose.

5. Get a massage-by your spouse or a professional.

6. Try this quick and easy Progressive muscle relaxation This is extremely helpful with anxiety and stress. When we have high anxiety/stress it is very hard to relax and be comfortable. Meditating can be difficult to learn when you are experiencing high levels of anxiety. This technique has you focus on a task that leads to relaxation.

7. Try using color. Ever wonder why your attracted to a certain color?
See my Chakra color chart Color affects your energy and can balance and clear it. I have a meditation room in green-green is a healing color. Use color throughout with many different things- with the clothes that you wear, paint on walls, flowers, jewelery, crystals, etc...
